I don’t think it’ll be explicitly outlined in the rules, but I think you’ll see a flag for it. I’m thinking back to ‘14 when the Rebels had the land shark thing going on for their defense. LSU played them, did the land shark hand over face mask gesture, and was penalized. I think if it’s egregious or targeted at an opposing player or sideline, then you’ll see the yellow flag come out. If it’s done with a little more tact, like on your own sideline or to your own student section, you may not see it. It should not be explicitly outlined in the rules though, imo. There’s no reason to make certain rules for certain fan bases. I mean, how many times have people chomped at FL fans?
