Yes. If Colt didn't get pushed around by Nebraska, I'd have said he deserved it.

Ingram beat Tebow, Tebow didn't look great against Bama.

No defensive player deserve the Heisman if DT didn't win it.

Gerhart played weaker teams.

To me, it was Ingram or Colt. If Colt had lit up Nebraska, I'd call Ingram's Heisman a sham.

No. Rolando was our best player. Should have gone to him.

5 games with less than 100 yards rushing is not Heisman worthy

This is not even worthy of all conference, usually, but he has two stiff arm trophies.

What exactly are you implying, the vast majority of posters on this thread and apparently you, have all seemed to have taken the topic the wrong way. I have not yet voiced my opinion on the topic at hand, but somehow the low IQ of some posters have apparently been trying to prove my opinion wrong

This guy gets it.

Tebow and Suh were never going to win it. Colt threw his chances away during the Big 12 title game against Nebraska.

The late push went to TG. Stats were the battle cry. People should look at the voting.

Of the 6 zones Ingram won 4. TG won 1(PAC). The fact it was close was a joke.

Yep

So. Still won.

2. Runner up (Toby Gerhart) had 1871 rushing yards and 28 TDs for season vs Ingram's 1678 rushing and 17 TDs for season

Ingram also had 32 rec 334 and 3 TDs. That put his total over 2000 yards and 20 TDs. Gerhart still had about equal total yards and more TDs, but he was on a 5 loss team.

Ingram was the driving force on that offense to an undefeated season. McElroy was a game manager, and Richardson was a firmly placed backup. There was really no one else legit enough to win it.

Toby got screwed. Stanford had a special year that was less expected than Alabama's year.

Stanford lost 5 games and Bama was undefeated with Ingram and the defense as the driving force.

I mean Toby Gerhart was the better choice stat wise but ingram was on a nation championship team and that tends to swing voters

You cant look at it just stat wise, if you did, the guy from Northern Illinois would have won at least once the past two years. What I hate, is that Winston and Manziel came along at the worst time for that kid. I mean, he was the whole offense on that shitty arse team.
