Do you think Lane Kiffin would have won a NC at UT...

If he was never caught cheating or left for SC?
I'm going to say yes.

This is a serious question. I think Kiffin is a solid coach. I'm not sure he can be a good coach and not cheat though.

He can call plays as well. He's one of the better play callers in the game IMO.

I'm not sure that he's done anything that would lead me to believe he's anything but a good recruiter.

He recruited well - how he did it.. not sure..
but i doubt he wouldve... but i think makin it to Atlanta was very possible..
He shouldve beat us - Not sure why he didnt..
Daniel Lincoln I guess..

No, but not because he wasn't good coach.
I think he would have been successful at UT, but his staff wasn't built to scale the mountain top of college football.
He was too worried about assembling a team of recruiters over skilled coaches. Not all, but the the majority...

yes, as would ron zook
The two aren't remotely close. Zook could recruit decently, but sucked as a game day coach. Kiffin can recruit very well, and is a damn good game day coach.

No. He is bad coach. When he was considered the front runner for our job, I cringed.

Put a vote in the no category for me.

It depends. If you're talking game day coach, I think he's a good one. If you're talking a coach that you can trust off the field as well, you know the answer to that...
IMO if he stays clean out at SC and hangs around through the probation, he will return them to the top eventually.

If he stayed here long enough, yes.

zook was able to win more games than kiffin has at either ut or usc

Zook inherited a team from Steve Spurrier. Kiffin inherited a team without linemen at Tennessee.
