Our bad. Only tigers permitted to cherry pick time periods to suit their cause.

You specifically said that Alabama was 3-1-1 against Auburn before the hiatus. Y'all weren't.

Eventually, yes. Auburn got it down to 5 games during the Tubs era but Saban has been able to stretch it to 7. Give it another 20 years and Auburn will surpass Alabama.
Its going to happen

Which definitely has nothing to do with him being wrong, but okay.

We were in the five years directly prior to the hiatus. I never once said that was the series record. I simply neglected to mention a time frame.

But that's not the point? Why would Alabama have chickened out of the series if if was turning in their favor? Then again, this is a pointless argument. The poster was trolling.
The series was cancelled because you wanted to pay players and control the referees. Some thing never change.

Again though, that's not what you originally said.

I didn't say it was the series record.

And now you're trolling.

Exactly what a troll would say.

I love these threads. Fat pitches are fat pitches.

maybe auburn will pass bama in my lifetime, maybe not....but, considering it was a glorified bama home game until 1989, trailing the series by only 7 is actually pretty impressive.

Somebody mentioned it's a lot closer since it moved out of Bessemer so, it could even up as the DSOR goes more and more into Georgia's favor.

It is possible. Auburn has proven despite overwhelming odds a unique ability to have a niche and make it work. However, Auburn has more obstacle to success than Bama. There is the obvious hope post-saban that Bama will swoon again due to infighting.
