If you feel threatened by a towel thrown in your general direction while you're in full pads and a helmet and surrounded by cops after you ran down the field directly toward where you knew there would be rowdy students then you're a bitch not a victim.

But when they provoke our student section by walking all the way up to the railing that separates them from the students making their own hand gestures suddenly they're all self-righteous about a few water bottles and ppl shooting birds at them.
If we were to do that when we go into meth valley this yr I would fully expect them to react the exact same way we did.

Bama would be Bama without auburn. Auburn would be one rung above uab without us. It's why they don't go east. Take Bama off the schedule and season ticket sales die.
and this is why I have zero respect for bama. The moronic faction of the fanbase, which is the majority. They think they are superior because of what a bunch of kids have done, yet disappear when things are going bad. I have seen this with my own eyes.

UGA- fan base finds a trivial excuse to blame away their shortcomings and trivial excuse for opponent's success.

Not sure I get the hate for UGA. IRL they have their trashy fans like every school but online, at least here, they're pretty damn reasonable. I used to have a lot of hate for them but posting here has really diminished it, I still don't love them and I want to beat them, it's just not as intense.

y'all can say what you want, but that level of angst demonstrates either fear or respect
having said that...
UGA's real rivals (listed in order of importance to me):
Florida - absolutely, they deserve respect. They are the top academic program in the SEC not named "Vanderbilt" and consistently field winning teams in all sports
Auburn - for years, they have been knocked for substandard academics; but that perception is changing. Why? Because they are a top notch school academically. Alabama has a reputation for being "the better school"; but Auburn has higher admittance standards lately. On the field? They are always a tough out
GA Tech - hell yes I respect them. They have managed to have a decent to better than average football program, yet retain stellar academics
South Carolina - here is a school with a disappointing history on the field, BUT they have absolutely done everything they can to join the big boys on the field. Anyone that does not respect the amazing gains they have made in football is either intellectually dishonest or an a-hole
Clemson - yes. I hate those sheepfrickers, but I respect their program
Tennessee - my respect for them in football has diminished because it seems they have created a "self inflicted dumpster fire" on the football field. I hope that Coach Pruitt brings them back to respectability
and I will say this - when you are looking at the schedule and counting wins before the season (you know you do it, we all do it); any team that you put in the "toss-up" and especially the "loss" category more often than not is a team you respect

When did this happen?Who's whining about Bama's or AU's? Hell, most UGA fans were cheering for AU in '10 and I can't remember anyone whining about Bama's run...yea we were passed about the outcome in the last one. I dont we'd ever pull for our hated in state rival to win a NC just to have some sort of bragging rights over another rival...about as pathetic as it gets.

I only know about the admission standards now because my boy was applying for schools (he is going to Auburn)
But Bama is always ranked higher in just about every "list of top schools" rankings that I see
It's always Vandy 1st, UF 2nd
Then it is either UGA or aTm 3rd and the other 4th
Bama almost always comes in 5th from what I see, followed by Mizzou OR Auburn

I'm 40 years old and I have never in my life heard that bama has a reputation that is even equal to Auburns academically. Auburn has ALWAYS been considered harder to get into, harder to graduate from, and a better degree in general that Alabama.
