I can only speak for myself, but never heard of this "big six" stuff and don't really care. We're really just coming in to be one of 16 teams and hopefully compete well every season.

Nope. They haven't earned anything in the SEC.

I don’t think “Big” should purely be tied to SEC titles for this reason: If MSU or Kentucky had a fluke year with a Cam Newton type QB and won the SEC, would there legitimately be a Big 7? No.
I would argue the “Big” should include the SEC programs which have the fan base, facilities, resources, and recruiting ability to compete for national titles. Basically the major programs driving significant revenue and national ratings/interest in the conference. Which in my opinion would be 9 programs: the original 6 plus OU, Texas, and yes, even aTm. South Carolina could have joined this list if they could have kept the Spurrier years going more sustainably.

What’s really made the big 6 the big 6 has always been recruiting(especially in the trenches) money and raucous home field advantage. Tex and ou have those and some nattys. ATM has all those things minus the natty. It’s definitely a top half(big 6 plus ou Tex) and a bottom half. Just not sure what to do with atm.

A&M is not big six until they can win some SEC titles. They have money, stadium and resources with out conference titles

Don't do alphabetical for statistics, please. Math is hard for people.

How could you stop someone from joining when all you have to do is win the SEC and National Championships? Until then, we will be waiting.

Maybe the big 7? OU is close to a blue blood but that likely will change soon.
Texas doesn’t belong.
Texas and Oklahoma are both blue bloods
