Do we have to put up with Aggie-UT catfights from now on?

Is this what we have to look forward to? It's like two drunk women bickering. They aren't even in the conference yet and I'm tired of it. Why did no one warn me it'd be this bad?

To be fair, our rivalry pales in comparison to Mizzou-OU. That’s where the real Big-12 hate is.

it's only been going on for over a century so yeah, I'd say you're gonna see a lot of it.

are you sure you’re not just upset that they are no longer obsessing over LSU?

I feel like Arky and Missouri warned everyone multiple times.

There's a thread right now where both fanbases are insisting this isn't a rivalry. Weird how that happens

Yes, except it's going to be a dog-cow fight.

You can type that as many times as you want, but doesn't make it true. My kid was in top 6% and a NMF. Got into Texas and A&M. My kid decided that a conservative school in a college town was a better fit over a liberal school in a city.
I'm not sure why that is so hard for you to understand. Probably because you were too dumb to attend either school.

It's true... but like most terrible things in life, nobody really believes until they are mired in it.

It's the off-season. About to get so much worse.

It’s weird. Several of us, like myself, have already explained that we simply preferred to attend A&M, and he thought that was impossible.
For some reason, it’s necessary for him to believe this…

*whines about another poster questioning academic validity*
*responds by doing the exact same thing*
Clearly your daughter's lack of intelligence was a hereditary thing

I was forced to point out your level of stupidity due to you repeatedly falsely posting that my kid didn't get into Texas when you've been told otherwise multiple times.

It's cool, man. This board is filled with aggies that weren't University of Texas material (just like the athletes that play for A&M). Your daughter will fit in just fine in College Station, don't worry

You see now WHY. Both fanbases... but damn Texas has some elite level asshats.

I had scholarship offers from both schools. Grew up in Austin, and wanted to be a veterinarian. If my sister is on this board (she also went to A&M) I just outed myself to her. I unfortunately had color vision issues that kept me from being a veterinarian, and I went down a different path after graduation.
Some prefer A&M, while the more liberal tend to prefer Austin and the burnt orange. Both are excellent schools in their own right.

quote:Sorta off topic but my Sister got somewhat substantial scholarship money from SMU and ZERO offered from Texas. SMU is an even better school. If she was Black or Mexican I bet Texas would have been more generous. Texas is more interested in phasing out White People than Academic merit
