I think it's basically a toss up.

If you think we're just going to quit after a tough loss with what we have on the line then idk what to tell you.

Agreed.
Believe they will lose a close one. This is the one game I will be watching on Satuday.

True, but AU caught LSU during its rebuilding month.

Timing is key.

And Auburn is a totally different matchup for us, their secondary will allow us to stay in the game, and our defense will feed off a rowdy home crowd. It will be a battle.

So, how does this work? if Ole Miss beats Auburn, does that mean LSU is better than Auburn, or does it mean Ole Miss is better than LSU? Or if Auburn only beats Ole Miss by 10 points, does that mean Ole Miss is really better than LSU.....this is so confusing.

This. We are a 5th place team in terms of experience. Talent, arguably 2nd or 3rd. We were floundering away after the beating MSU put on us. We tried a true freshman QB in hostile environment against a top tier team. And he played like a true freshman QB in hostile environment against a top tier team. We got dominated. Plain and simple.

However, we are growing as a team. Getting better day by day as we learn how to win and our confidence grows. We are doing the two things that make for success, running the ball well and playing defense well. At this point I believe we still lose to Auburn, but it would not be 41-7. Possibly score (up to) twenty points. I am pleased with our progress.

Well LSU has seemed to have drastically improved on the O-line and front 7. Auburn is going to beat Ole Miss soooooo this confusing hypothetical is not needed

10 points at home in a night game does wonders for confidence doesn't it?

This is a hard game to read. I thought you would come out flat against A&M after beating Bama. We know how that worked out. Wow.

Now you are coming off of a heartbreaking loss at LSU and entering the home stretch of SEC West play, trying to battle your way into the playoffs. Hard to tell how this will play out.

Have to admit, I am on the fence with this game, leaning towards Ole Miss. Definitely the game I will be watching this weekend.

Well OM is a 3 point favorite. Bet the house on Auburn if you're that confident

Nah. Watching a team run at will and a defense play lights out, that does wonders for confidence. Watch a team recover from adversity when they made mistake after mistake and did not implode, that was impressive. Watching our home crowd remember what it was to be a part of the game experience, that is something to look to.

See you November 8th.
