Do I see some similarities between Dabo/Clemson & Fisher/A&M

Took over a program stuck at 8-5

The biggest difference is Jimbo has gotten recruiting firing on all cylinders quicker than Dabo did.
Dabo has gone on to 10 straight years of double-digit wins, including 2 titles. Don't be shocked when Jimbo does the same.

Unfortunately, aTm doesn’t play in a down ACC.

IDK their pretty similar before that.
Clemson has a run in the late 80s/90s where they finished ranked 17, 12, 9, 12, 9, 18, NR, 23
A&M did as well. 6, 13, 10, NR, 20, 15, 12, 7, 9, 8, 15, NR, 20, 11, 23.
Clemson won the more recent title in 81, but A&M got theirs in 39.
Both stayed good, but not great through most of their hisotry.

But did play in a SEC season when LSU was wayyyy off what most suspected LSU would be outside of COVID....the win against UF may not be as impressive given that UF is now what, 8-3?
If it hadn't been for COVID who knows what TAM's season would have looked like. Not that they haven't had a good year....they should be in the playoff ahead of ND and OSU..but LSU would have probably been better and UGA would have probably been better and TAM's win against UF might not be as impressive....
