You do realize that New Orleans will eventually lose its professional teams, right? The city has an NFL and NBA team for the same reason that other dying cities, like Buffalo and Oakland, do. In modern day, N.O. now has a smaller metro than Charleston and Ft. Lauderdale lol.

They likely won’t lose the Saints or Pelicans anytime soon, but (unless pro leagues expand) N.O. will be one of the first cities on the chopping block when places like Austin, Orlando, and Salt Lake City begin demanding NFL teams.

Also, you do realize that Birmingham has a far brighter future than anywhere in Louisiana, right? You sit at the bottom of every quality of life ranking. You have Florida weather and topography without any desirable beaches or water.

TLDR: Loser SECRANT poster enjoying a superiority complex because his shite home state hosts two pro teams created in a bygone era has no idea that the joke is on him.

Alabama >>>>>> Louisiana in regard to future state success — higher ed, space, tech, private equity, health care, big law is all expanding in AL and dying in LA.

Lsu + Saints draw about 1.2m fans per year.

Alabama + Auburn about 1.3m.

Its antenna for me with my toothless, shoeless children on the roof moving the antenna so I can get better ception. We've had to kill all the trees to help with reception as well.

Pretty much everything you said is bullshite. And I dog on the Louisiana economy more than anyone else I know. The spacex deal alone is a game changer. And the nfl keeps the saints around because they want to keep having super bowls in Nola.

I only watch games that have BAMA players, and especially if they start BAMA QBs. Can you do the math for me?

Huh. I live in Virginia, guess I’ll go around telling folks they’re not allowed to like NFL football.

Are folks from Arkansas and Mississippi also suspect, or is this entirely an Alabama thing for you?
