Do you think he would have come back if you weren’t playing for a N.C.?

Personally, I'm okay with this.

We never really got a FULL explanation, hence ESPN's "personal reasons" comment. Most people say weed, some speculated grades. Some said both. Whatever it was, it happened in the bye before the Bama game, so he was out starting that game. Lotsa people got pissed off that he was leaving when we were going into our biggest game.

That said, he was a guy who flashed some serious talent last year, and could have been drafted. He chose to return for his senior year instead.

As you saw above, Orgeron said a month ago that the earliest he could return was the national championship game. That suggests there were still conditions to be met, and he also would have to be eligible. As I understand, he graduated, so he took care of classes when he was out. And he's been practicing with the team ahwile, so he's earned the team's respect (and the coach's).

He could have shut it down and decided to go pro, and probably be a 3rd/4th rd pick based on talent. He chose to work his way back.

I think he's going to play like his hair's on fire that game. I think the LB rotation is now set, but he's actually a big outside linebacker, would make a nice edge rusher... I think he was our main pressure guy when Chaisson was hurt.
You pair him with Chaisson on the edges, and he's going to make a big impact. And Clemson doesn't have film of both of them together on the field, so it's going to be something they can't prepare that much for.

The Vandy game wasnt terrible defense really.

It wasn’t good, but we also gave away two non-offensive TDs that made it look worse.

That said, he was playing the best of any LB leading up to the Bama game. He was lights out vs Auburn.

It’s only been stated for the last 2 months that the earliest he could play would be the National Championship game. I guess the rabbit ears on your tv didn’t pick that up in Alabama

Nah, none of that shite is correct, brah! Look, ESPN was just reporting what they knew and they didn't know the whole story. Divinity did go back home for awhile to take care of some personal family issues while he was being suspended for whatever the reason is, nobody knows exactly what it is he was suspended for. But he was suspended for 6 games and now that time is up and he's able to play. Dude would have been played if not for that, he's been back awhile now practicing with the team and all, cheering them on while on the sidelines and all wearing his LSU jersey in blue jeans. He's ready to play and now it's time for him to play and that's all there is to it, NO team vote has anything to do with it, he served his time and the time to play is NOW. That's great news for LSU because he was their best LB before the suspension, but during the suspension other LB'er's like Pat Queen came into their own as a player and is now playing lights out ball.

but now that Divinity is back, it will give LSU's defense a player that can help them greatly, and they need all the help they can get because they haven't been exactly great on defense. That's excellent news because I'm sure Divinity will leave it all out on the field in this LAST GAME of his.

Indifferent actually...we were rolling without him and O had said all along he would come back for the Natty.
Dont think it will make a huge difference but will help with depth.
