Why? He recruited Chambliss to Ole Miss and built that team as best he could. Chambliss only takes them so far.
It was never about one season with Kiffin. LSU is the better job because of the resources and players they can continually get. This isn’t a team that will get worse with time.
Of course Ole Miss fans don’t look at the bigger picture and the other trolls around the SEC. Y’all realize y’all should get y’all’s shots in now while y’all can.
Fact of the matter is, Ole Miss goes right back to the mean after Chambliss leaves. He’s the real deal. As much as I’d like to deny it, he can beat you with his legs or his arm.
Ole Miss has too many problems that can’t be fixed though. Chambliss can only cover up so much. A team with a better game plan from the beginning as well as not having to deal with EVERYTHING that went on will end up having their way Ole Miss on a neutral field.
Just look at the tape. Same as with Louisville. The points are there to be had, the QB just has to take advantage of it. There will be teams in this conference and in the playoff that can expose them. LSU pretty much did that in the 2nd half.

I love how OM fans are bitching about how Lane reacted to the game. He did that as your coach literally every damn time y’all lost a close game. I remember him pulling that every time LSU would beat him in a close game. If you don’t remember them that then you have very short-term memory.
