You do realize Nick Fitzgerald is better than Etling right? Fitzgerald threw 21 touchdowns to Etling's 11. He also ran for over 1300 yards and 16 more touchdowns. I'm an LSU fan btw

It was a joke, OBC

But there is zero empirical evidence on Nick Fitzgerald that has any relevance to Etlings arm strength. Zero.

LOL @ everyone that doesn't think Etling has an arm. He's gotten significantly stronger and bigger this year as well as fully recovered from not being able to feel his back leg last season.

Did he have a strong arm when he was benched at Purdue for Austin Appleby? Also, how could he have gotten stronger and bigger while recovering from back surgery? He said himself today he's 90% recovered from the procedure. And I'm still confused as to how any of this is going to help improve his decision making

...into a WR?

It's a brilliant strategy. When the QB throws a bad pass, coach O has a CB on the field waiting to catch.

This strategy will be game changing.

I don't get it. Are you trying to discredit Orgeron?

Alabama's message to JaCoby Stevens during the recruiting process was simple--they liked him at receiver just as much as safety, and would explore the option of him playing on either side of the ball.
