Read the article I just posted from Feb of 1990. He also left the University with 2/3 of the athletes on academic probation. He whined, and lied about alot of things back then. He's your hero, because he lost to Auburn 10 times in his career of coaching overall.

Now see. There's already 2 discrepancies in this thread. One was after the Au game, the other after Ole Miss homecoming. Several articles state different like that. Seems someone would have their story straight.

He was a bad fit at Bama, mouthy and whiney. Probably both sides were at fault, but it was best that he was gone in the end.

This I agree with.

The other part about him being my hero is retarded. I thought he was a bit of a pussy and knew he did not have a snowballs chance in hell against Pat Dye.

Why THE frick do you always take half of a quote to try to take something out of context?????

Everyone can see the entire quote in the page before and it is obvious what it says. It only makes you look stupid with a proclivity towards outright lying when you constantly do it.

From sports illustrated. He went from 9-2 to 10-1 regular season his last two years at bama and had the highest winning percentage of any coach not named Bear at bama.

In reward, his wife received death threats and gumps threw bricks at him all because Pat Dye beat him. No wonder he hates bama.

So he says. And yet he never filed a police report? I know you're not used to thinking critically, but try, really hard on this one. Don't you think, had he really received a death threat, he would have notified the police? Don't strain your brain, but think about it.

By the way, Stallings winning % was 81.4. Try doing a little better research next time

He's our Les Miles.

And yes, he did have a hard time competing with the professional football team down on the 'Plains.

I wouldn't act all high and mighty considering Bama was doing the EXACT same thing.

Auburn - Put on probation for allegedy influencing Colonial to make an auto LOAN to Eric Ramsey.

Bama - Put on probation for a $24,000 loan to Jene Gelks a few years later that occurred at about the same time, but was not investigated until the early-mid 90's.

This is true. The article I quoted was actually from the beginning of the Shula era.

Tiger, what did I say about research. Try a little harder. For me???

Auburn - Put on probation for allegedy influencing Colonial to make an auto LOAN to Eric Ramsey.

Nope. Listen to the 60 minutes tapes. He was getting all kinds of shite (steaks and bills paid immediately come to mind!)

Nope. We were put on probation for Antonio Langham, but thanks for playing! We have some lovely consolation gifts for you!

Alright stupid ignorant dumbfrick. Let's play...

I did listen to the 60 minute tapes years ago. Yes, Ramsey got a few bills paid, a very small amount of cash, some steaks (holy shite!) and allegedly a $9k loan.

Here is some more info:

quote:

The tapes became the subject of much speculation, including the theory they were spliced together to incriminate potential adversaries. Ramsey and Watkins refused to allow the FBI to authenticate the tapes.

Now to show just how damn stupid you are:

quote:

quote:

Gelks played at approximately the same time as Ramsey.

[quote]A former assistant to Bryant and player on his legendary "Junction Boys" team at Texas A&M, Stallings fit the 'Bama mold perfectly, delivering the school its 12th national title in 1992. Unfortunately, his tenure also produced the Tide's first-ever NCAA probation. An investigation found that boosters had provided loans totaling $24,000 to former player Gene Jelks -- whose audio-taped conversations touched off the scandal

Jelks also received a $2100 signing bonus to sign with Bama in case you did not know that also came out in the investigation.

You need to get your head out of your arse.

shite.. now that's some spin. you forgot to mention it was coaches doing the deed in Auburn, not boosters.

Guess you missed the point your idiot brethren claimed Bama was not doing the same (only worse as usual) with Jelks.

He seemed to not remember Jelks was the main reason for the scholly losses in the 90's for bama.

I got that, but suggesting that the tapes were spliced and not really indicative of Dye and Co. paying him is kinda farfetched. Moreso than some Bama fans sayin the brick didn't happen.

Umm, it was a booster named Corky Frost. And you can be damn sure the bama coaches were every bit as aware and guilty as any of the AU coaches. You need to quit with the spin. You suck at it.

Also, since you should remember the Ramsey fiasco, you should know it was a fact he flat out refused anyone to authenticate anything and only played them twice.

Aww, is that MORE sand in your vagina? I'm sure your mother would help get it out!

Funny, the ncaa didn't gt us for that. Could it be b/c Auburn, the biggest cheaters in the histoy of the SEC (look it!) paid him to make those? The ncaa didn't even believe that!

[quote]You need to get your head out of your arse.

I will. I promise AS soon as you get the sand out of your twat (remember, its gotta be clean for your fricking at BDS this year!) Try Massengil, or a different product, should your snizz prove unusually sensitive!

By the way, they said he got ONE impermissable loan. ONE! And lied to the Universiy about it! YOUR coach was setting Ramsey's shite up!
