What a great story.

To make this short his dad was leader of unit at iwa jima during ww2.
He was the oldest at 23.

It was during the time of the staging of the marines hoisting flag on that mountain.

It was a great story.

Idk how to link it or I would

I haven't listened to Finebaum since a few years into the Saban era. I listened a few years. Idk how I made it thru that many, but i was bored and had an hour drive home... sometimes stallings, or barbara dooley, or bowden would come on. those were worth listening to. that's it.

My grandfather fought on Iwo Jima. He has a mantle with the volcanic ash/beach, empty shell casing, and a pic of his unit.

Tammy

That was all a call-in persona. She was nothing like that in real life.

So tragic her 3 year old baby granddaughter was taken with her. R.I.P.

Thanks for sharing and sounds like a great story. I stopped watching him when he was known as the F bomb while jacking off the bear.
