It’s pretty funny that all of a sudden Auburn fans are too good for them, and when Tate goes to Illinois they’ll have to crawl back to Stidham just like they had to crawl back to Gus.

We aren’t too good for him.

We like Tate better but we also know chances are slimmer for Tate.

I’m just not going to be out here acting like Bryant is a savior. He would improve our team next year but he’s not going to win us a championship

I get it as a gap year type thing, though

And that’s what it is. We have a QB commit that the staff is insanely high on but we don’t want to start a true FR QB for obvious reasons. I actually think we have a QB already on the roster that is more talented than Bryant, but the staff doesn’t seem to like him for some reason.

I’m also guessing there is a reason he has garnered so much interest as a transfer and it’s probably not because he sucks.

It's because he played for Clemson.

Yea, that makes sense.

Is Stidham gone? He had a rough year but I can't imagine Bryant as a better QB.

I still don't understand what happened with Stidham. He had the physical tools.

I did and hope he doesn't come to AU.

He has prime potential to be run into ground. Stop being a pussy.

Haven’t heard anything but if we’re going after grad transfers I would assume

I think Bryant would absolutely be a better QB than Stidham in Gus’ system.

Gus needs a runner

Honestly, Inwould take Stidham. I think he’s do much better in Dooley’s offense.

No offensive line, no running game = jumpy Stidham

Plus the obvious dysfunction on offense between Gus and Chip.

Their passing attack was insanely heavy swing passes, WR screens and slants.

He might not have thrown it downfield a whole lot but he was accurate when he did

Definitely agree. Locks improvement from game 1 to Tennessee/Arkansas was night and day.

Just start that dude. You guys have the One 4* in teh whole class, but he is the 12th best player in Ohio, so , at least that- may as well play him. (nice class, btw. 43rd. Better than u usually get).

CFP Film Room had him down for some pretty ugly numbers past 10 yards last year. We had quite a lot of discussion about it before our game and it all played to form. His pressure numbers were even worse.

Got a lot of wide open deep throws on RPOs.

But he's a known commodity who won't be terrible for you, at least against 75% of your schedule. So I get it.

Considering our returning QB completed 50% against Stephen F Austin, I'll be glad to throw another QB into our rotation to compete for a starting spot.
