Still cannot believe Bama is getting him back for his senior season. Bama's top 4 wideouts are NFL ready (Yes, even Waddle). Smith would not have fallen past 2nd round in my oppinion. Waddle and Smith will be an awfully good 1-2 WR duo next year. We should have several good WR groups in the Conference this year. JaMaar Chase and Terrace Marshall should be fun. Throw in Racey McMath and LSU maybe have the best WR group in the conference.

Hey, Bammers say the entire win was a fluke so I'll allow it.

We only scored on you in 2019 because half of your team was 12 years old and Tua was in a full body cast.

Its amazing that Tua could even keep them in such a game where LSU had flawless execution yet barely beat Bammer.

It is, don't forget he being on one leg.

Probably the best returning receiver in the SEC
Smith would be #3 on the depth chart at best at LSU. He'd be competing with McMath for #3. Hell, Trey Palmer may even be better.

fluke - an unlikely chance occurrence, especially a surprising piece of luck.
I’d say 5 defenders looking at the sideline while Tuna did a glance away snap is a rare occurrence. But hey, that’s just me!

They want so bad to be on LSUs level now. I guess when our GOAT QB is winning nattys while there’s is quitting after losing to LSU against state that says a ton

That was the 1st TD, Willy. He’s talking about the 2nd one.

Devonta Smith is a great receiver. You can try to find reasons to knock him but at the end of the day he is legit. He took Stingley to school and there is no denying that. Stingley is one of the best true freshman ever at cornerback for Lsu or any team for that matter and has a chance to do outstanding things in the future maybe even a Heisman if he keeps it up. But that particular game vs Alabama Devonta Smith got the best of him. Do that means Stingley is a bad cornerback? No not by a long shot. Sometimes a player gets the best of you on that particular day. Sometimes even the greatest players can have a bad day. That doesn't take away from Stingleys greatness or that Smith is a pretty good receiver in his own right.
Another example Jamarr Chase took Clemsons A.J. Terrell to school but all the NFL mock drafts have A.J. Terrell going anywhere from 1-3 round in the draft. He still good but he got it taken to him that particular day.

The second one was garbage points. The play didn't matter. The game was already in the bag.

Why does that matter though?
Smith still burned Stingley either way.

It matters considerably. Game was over. They were already checked out mentally. They were already celebrating. The arse kicking was finished.
Besides the fluke play, when it mattered (first half), Stingley did his job, and shut down his side of the field.

Could be. He’s just lost in the mix of an INSANE group of WRs.
He might actually fall off more as a senior, because he was Tua’s favorite target. They were always on the same page, and I think Tua really had his timing dialed in.
We’ll see. I think Waddle should be our go-to WR especially considering this is his last year, and first year as a starter. Devonta will make a great #2 though

This is total bullshite. At no point in the game were you ever up by 14 in the 4th quarter.
Your starters were in the entire game.
You literally do not know what garbage points are.
