Which would be fine, if it was consistently enforced via ejections.

It has not been, just last week only a ten yard penalty resulted from Joe Adams being hit in a similar fashion.
Yeah, the ncaa should do something about that.

LSU wouldn't play someone who takes cheap shots on defenseless punt returners, though.

Only defenseless men who put their lives on the line for this country.

The player is in the right in this instance, those men deserve a foot in the face.

Defenseless man with a history of bar fights and stalking women, Sounds like a marine to me.

If our back-up QB can whip his arse.. I think the marines really need to amp up their training program Although it definitely explains why we continually get our arse beat in any military engagement we start.

Oh, Jefferson deserved his arrest and his suspension from the team. So did Wade.

that marine also deserved the arse beating he got. Situation was handled properly, as was it was with your thug player trying to injure the Vandy returner.

the only thing messed up on the field was the initial call. should have been 15 yards tacked on to the end of the play.

R-Kansas definitely getting publicity out of it...

New level

quote:

We've seen some cheap shots this year, but Arkansas' Marquel Wade put them all to shame today with an illegal hit on Vanderbilt's Jonathan Krause while Krause was trying to field a punt. What you can't see on this video is Wade celebrating after the illegal hit and ultimately getting ejected.

As Wade left the field, he continued to taunt Vanderbilt fans. Krause, who was looking up at the ball and not at Wade barreling down on him, was defenseless and injured on the play.

The hit was so brutal that it would be surprising if Wade didn't face additional punishment from the SEC next week.

Was anyone calling for Bama's LB to be ejected when he had a late hit on Wilson when he put his head into Wilson's chest? Nope.
