Chad Jones lead with his shoulder in a legal hit. Your thug player took a cheap shot and got ejected for it, don't be mad. I'm unsure of the exact ruling, but he should be suspended for the following game as well.

Check out this big hit where a true example for sportsmanship checks to make sure if his opponent is okay before celebrating!

I don't think a fair catch or celebration had anything to do with the ejection. I've seen these types of hits ejected before on punt returners, not your typical defenseless receiver over the middle.

It was an illegal hit. It deserved a penalty, and if he did extra celebrating or taunting at the end then he deserved two flags. The Vandy player had to run forward at the last second and wasn't clear about his fair catch, and Wade was trying to be aggressive and make a play. It's frikin SEC football, if they applied that standard every game there would be an ejection every other game.

Wrong. Mallett threw a shitty pass and forced your receiver to leave his feet and he got punished for it by a good clean football hit.
Today, your player took a malicious and intentional cheap shot on a defenseless (and protected) player. Then celebrated the injury he caused. :classy:

shite happens, if you don't want it to happen a fair catch needs to be clearly called before hand.
I'm pretty sure Wade was on the receiving end of one of these types of hits in the Punt return where the defender had the ball hit him in the back as he led with his head in to Wade. No ejection occurred, no threads here from hogsessed lsu posters...

So according to him Chad Jones who was flagged for illegal helmet to helmet made a clean play versus a guy who was flagged for kick catch interference made a dirty play and should be suspended an additional game.

I heard that Vandy declined the interfering with the catch penalty because they advanced the ball 30+ yards while the Arky ST were yucking it up. However, if a DB PF was called for taunting or USC and the ejection, then an additional 15 yards should have been added to the line of advance.
