I remember when Lane wanted to throw the ball.....got 2 interceptions. We had a freshman RB that couldn't be stopped.
I think it was our 1st loss to tOHu in 10 - 30 games.
Saban kept shouting "Run the damn Ball" ........
Lane is a great play caller. Sometimes if you have a complete advantage just do it and forget about throwing up a touchdown sign if you got em in a bad Defensive scheme.
and i do remember tOSU had a 3rd string QB that ran through us like crszy.....more reason to run the ball with a kid that coildnt be stopped.
O well.................
