It's been 70 years since UT had a decent coach that they didn't force out. UT fans have no idea what SEC coaching material looks like. Generally, when the words "coaching material" come up, they just have nightmares about houndstooth.

He's about to be the second consecutive Vanderbilt coach to have a winning record over UT. Before Franklin went 2-1, you had to go back to Ray Morrison who left Vandy in 1939 to even find a coach who went 0.500. Welcome to the new normal.
