He has a good resume. He seems to be a reasonably good recruiter. He seems ethical and worthy of representing your great program. I think the roster has been so depleted that he hasn't been able to demonstrate his "strengths" yet. I will say that he strikes me as the least poised Coach in the SEC and very petulant, like somebody who might cycle down when faced with diversity.
But really, this year will tell the tale and I expect 8 wins and Dooley to get his mojo back.
This really seems like a friendly post, but I just can't agree with much of it.
1. I don't think his resume is impressive.
2. He may not be the worst recruiter, but he may well be the worst we've had since the 70's.
3. 8 wins may get Dooley fired.

Well you would know, as I'm viewing this from a distance. The shite I read daily from parts unknown about Les that I KNOW is factually untrue, demonstrates that the further away from a program you are, the less truthful perspective you have. Mine is only perception.
That said, my rather uninformed opinion is that is seems as if he has had injuries/roster depletions/fallout from Kiffen, was too petulant for big boy football and needed to get his arse handed to him before he really understood the rules. And now he does, and better days are ahead.

The bold is true, although Fulmer deserves a lot of the blame, too. That said, there's a big difference between giving reasons for why Dooley has struggled and giving reasons for why Dooley will win.
The bottom line is, he has to show something, and soon. Tennessee will be full of third year starters this year and losing to the four teams that matter just won't get it done this time, in my opinion.

Is Petrino in Knoxville after this year if Dooley wins 6/7 games ?

Progress to me would be winning the games they're supposed to, beating SOMEONE they're not supposed to and just being competitive against everyone else. These 2nd half colapses have to stop.
