I think this helps the very top teams the most. Take Alabama for example. They're at the top right now. So the best of the best players, that want to win a championship, will all transfer to them, or the couple other top programs like Clemson or Ohio State.

Yes, and it's horrible for college football.

Great question. I’d say there’s an 80% chance that he reads these boards

If he actually posts, it’s probably as an LSU fan who is intelligent and well-spoken.

That knocks out most of the usual suspects.

it creates what is essentially CFB Free Agency. Great players from bad teams transfer to competing teams, which is not good for the sport

Yeah my next post addressed this also, which I agree would be an issue.

it’s great for the sport.

With 130 FBS teams, a lot of great players are on teams you’re not watching. If they congregate on the top 10 or whatever that you are watching, then the level of play rises exponentially. The other teams, you don’t care about them anyway because you weren’t watching them to begin with.

The top teams will be better, which will lead to more hyped matchups when they do play each other (you’re more likely to watch a #5 vs #8 game than a #12 vs #23 game)
