And you saying that LSU fans claimed we wouldn't miss a beat w/o PP7 really shows you don't know what you're talking about. Like another poster said earlier, we had a better defense, had a Bednarik winner, a Thorpe winner, a Heisman finalist, two first team All Americans, and the SEC defensive player of the year.

Yeah, Peterson probably would've helped in January. But our defense wasn't the problem that game.

YOU PWNT ME. You're obviously too ignorant to understand that most LSU posters could not predict the future after the North Texas game and see we'd be missing 4/5 of our line so I won't even bother trying to explain it again.

"WOW, THESE GUYS ARE WRONG. IM FINNA FIND ME SOME 30 CORNDOGS WHO SAID METT WOULD BE THE BEST. IMMA GET THEM BANNED. THAT'LL SHOW 'EM"

AllBamaDoesIsWin tosses and turns at night at the thought of people thinking Milliner was not as good as Peterson during his tenure at LSU. I'm convinced the guy has Bama football on his mind literally all day.

You will know his name and # by season's end. I don't know who I would pick, but I am a tide fan. Its two different people, and two different programs. If they were coached by same people, then I might try to choose one over another.

I know his name. To mention him in the same sentence with Peterson is a slap in the face to Peterson. Miliner is more like a combo of Deion Sanders/Darrelle Revis, but hits harder than Ray Lewis. Though He's not quite as deep a hitter as Rolando McClain.

Saying PP7 is better is one thing, but all of the "not even close" comments rob your opinions of legitimacy. Milliner is the best corner Bama has had in a long time. Nobody is THAT much better than him.

I think they mean "it's not even close enough for a debate". Peterson IS clearly better. Not necessarily saying milliner is nowhere close to pp7.

Bama fans obsessing about their players in the NFL.... Comparing them to former LSU players...

Give your fan base a break, they already have a bad enough reputation.

Speaking of fan bases with bad reputations, I take it you've been to the Rant since Saturday, right?

Just sayin'.

Seriously. The wheelchair is strong over there lately.

I mean it's not like LSU can't bounce back and have a perfectly good season.

It's all about perspective, or lack thereof, much of it due to youth I think. Oh well, getting a win Saturday will accomplish miracles...a loss and I'm afraid Jonestown may be dwarfed historically.

I think that if LSU wins, there will be a bounce back and the LSU/Bama game will once again be seen as the barometer for the West.

If LSU loses, I can see the issue actually snowballing all across the board, and taking another game, possibly two, down with it.

If LSU does lose, expect the new talking point among the rahtards to be about how "this is Miles' first time to lose back-to-back games." Book it.

Both these points thoroughly discussed and pretty much agreed upon by most. If a loss I see 9-4 as a distinct possibility

There's no lack of creativity on hacking on Miles so I'm sure all bases will get covered.
