I didn't go to LSU
This isn't a down year, ..... Barely halfway into the season and this is Bama's the worst year (stats wise) since 2006.

He doesn't need better players. But if he is going to be stubborn and force an air raid offense no matter the personnel, then yea he will have to recruit players that fit that scheme.

Statistically Milroe is better this year after 7 games actually. Last year there were numerous play makers around this such as Isiah bond and others that could catch a 4th and forever touchdown to win a game. R.Williams will be a stud, but overall Milroe is making a lot of mistakes, missing open receivers and not running when he should. Nobody in their right mind should expect Milroe to throw it almost 50 times a game like he did yesterday and be successful.

It would help, but at some point we can't blame coordinators. DeBoer has to control them. It's the HC's job to put an OC in his place when the D is tired and the OC wants to open up a drive with 3 straight passes. Or the pass blocking is struggling and the solution is to throw the ball 45 times in a game where we were in control 90% of it.
