oh ye of so little faith. i think coach chizik is going to do a good job. give him a chance. i believe you have a better staff than you had the last few yrs with TT. congrats on beating ole miss. that was a damn good victory.

I do too. Like I said in my follow-up post, I was a little harsh. My point is that Mark Richt is a proven winner and I think UGA is doing the same thing Auburn did last year in regards to Tubs...flipping their shite and overreacting due to UF's success...much like AU did with UA's success. Friday night, if you asked an AU fan if they'd swap Richt for Chizik, I think you'd probably get a 90% yes reaction. Now that AU won today, that will obviously change. It's a "what have you done for me lately" aspect of the typical football fanatic. Two weeks ago, Les Miles should have been run out of town on a rail. A month ago, Lane Kiffin was a buffoon ruining any shot of UT getting back to prominence. My whole point is nothing is as good as it seems, and nothing is as bad as it seems. We all, myself included, let passion influence our 12 beer deep posts....jmo.

"Dick Chopper" Tebow would have struck him dead if the Gaytors would have gotten beaten today.

Not to kick a guy when he's down, but I am not a fan, nor really have been, of that UM grad. His attempts to motivate - the nice guy way - instead of being a fricking man about things is why his extremely tallented team underachieves.

He's the type of douche who probably has those stupid motivational posters hanging around the locker rooom ("Teamwork: everyone rowing together").

You give Spurier that team and you got yourself a contender for a NC. Period.

Actually, I think the nice guy stigma has had a negative effect on CMR. The net effect since that ridiculous celebration incident in '07 vs Florida is that we have one of the most undisciplined most penalized teams in college football. And to make matters worse we played with very poor sportsmanship today. At one point I thought it was going break out in gang warfare with a riot squad having to be brought in. It got so bad that the head official called the captains together, Tebow and Dowtin, and counseled them about the mood of both teams. Obviously it didn't do any good because the poor sportsmanship continued. To be honest I am very disappointed and disgusted with Coach Richt right now. Our team played like a bunch of thugs today.

"uga is doing the same thing auburn did......"

This is not true. This is a reaction to YEARS of domination on a national stage by our #1 rival. and Richt has his part in this failure of uga to compete with uf. he is 2-7 vs. uf including 1-2 vs. the Zooker, for crissakes (with 3 of uga's strongest teams ever).

This is also a reaction to a clear trend of sloppy, undisciplined football and gimmicky coaching moves that make our team a laughing stock.

Thanks for the correction. I meant Logan Gray. Would love to see Murray get some playing time but he has had tendonitis in his throwing arm but is reportedly getting some reps in practice now.

I think so too. I wish Mark only the best. I think he is a good person but I disagree with his philosophy regarding discipline. CMR probably needs a fresh start with another program and UGA needs a new coach who believes in discipline and maintains the respect of his players.

I was just going to post and ask Georgia fans if they thought it was time for Richt to go. You've had two pretty embarrassing losses to Florida in the last two years and I don't think Georgia's going to put up with that year in and year out. They are dogging out Georgia on ESPN right now saying they can't beat Florida, not even every once in a while. Richt's gotta go on the hot seat somewhat after blowout losses to TN and FL.

FWIW, patience UGA, embrace the suck and move forward accordingly, from a Vol fan.

I been following and pulling for the dawgs for years i have relatives in Covington and from my perspective I see a team thats not giving a 100% their not leaving it out on the field and while i think the players like Richt theirs defintely a lack of respect for him. What can we do for the DAWGS!
