Let's hope your team focuses on those types of antiquated stats and not more advanced ones that paint a more realistic picture.

Hate we’re losing him but I’d think this is a disappointing hire for A&M. I believe it was used against us in recruiting and have to believe Nick saban will tell these recruits’ parents, yes I know some oil guy is offering you a little more money to go to A&M, but Google the name of the defensive coordinator and tell me that’s who you want your son playing for. Money will keep getting recruits but that will be used against A&M as it was used against us.

He was highly recommended by Muschamp. As a HC he has had issues in the past but that is not what he is being brought in for. Looks like A&M is starting their own rehabilitation program. If Pruitt had been available would probably have been him. This is Fisher's program, and any toxicity will come directly from him not the assistants.

Nice hire by A&M. Had great defenses everywhere he has been DC except Ole Miss where he was able to make an okay chicken salad out of chicken shite this season. Ole Miss moved from the 120s to 51st in points per game and held 10/13 opponents below their season average in PPG.

Would Gary Patterson not have been a good choice? Great defensive mind and is well respected throughout the country and certainly with texas high schools. When Elko left he was my first thought.
