Some other idiot in this thread said Staley was a product of her environment. Everyone is a product of their environment, everywhere, at all times. That doesn't mean you have to bend yourself down to the lowest common denominator. That's a personal choice.
Bull Connor was a product of his environment. George Wallace was a product of his environment. So were millions and millions and millions of racist whites all across the nation back in those dark times.
On the other hand, there were also many millions in those same environments back then that didn't subscribe to the same type of nonsense and trash Dawn Staley currently promotes.

Sometimes ... its bad guy vs. worse guy. Not Black Hat vs White Hat.
This is one of those times. They're both dicks. Staley is, in this case, the lesser of two dicks.
Gino is the Greater Dick. As anyone who ever worked North of the DC / Philly line would understand.

This thread has nothing to do with the other coach, whoever he is. I would have made this same thread regardless of whether or not she recently had a screaming match with him over foul calls or something.
That isn't the problem; I think all coaches scream at each other sometimes. Everyone knows what the problem is.

My problem is that I try to imagine a white woman coach reversing what Staley says about whites and saying it about blacks and wonder if I would still be proud of any bouncy ball achievements.
