They may lose that host spot. Bookmark if you want. They were borderline projected at 14-15 before this weekend.
Ole Miss needs 18 conference wins to lock up a host regional. If we get the win tomorrow, and 2 of 3 against Tennessee, we are good...I am trying to be gracious in defeat, but I reckon I can understand. the rivalry is pretty ugly these days.

I have zero confidence we get to 18 conference wins but this team is so unpredictable it may certainly happen.

I get it. we racked up 48 wins and were the #4 national seed last season, and had one bad day playing a team that hit like 150 HRs on the season and lost 2 games in 8 hours. season over, ha...would be ironic if this team did more than last year. and it could happen

does anybody realize what it takes to win 17 or 18 out of 30 games in this conference we play in? that's kind of a big deal.

I’m not one of our bad fans even though I ripped yoi guys a new one over the recruiting bullshite. I knew there was stuff going on because I’ve had inside info about the Ed Center etc for a long time. So when Freeze got caught, yes, I gave you guys total hell.
Outside of that, I think I’m pretty fair about stuff on this board and call things like I see them. And yes, Ole Miss had a very good baseball team. It just makes a few of our own fans upset that I call it like I see it.

Mullen, growing up in the 60’s and 70’s, I witnessed us lose typically more often than we won in most sports.
So in the recent years, I have thoroughly enjoyed winning and I don’t sweat the losses that much. Not really worth it.
I enjoy beating Ole Miss but it is better when we are both good. Games are more fun and meaningful.

State beats Ole Miss in baseball Ahhhh-GAIN. In other news water is wet(pun intended).

And you have an excellent team, ours is just better … going by the above poster or two, which I guess means your entire fanbase.
This is just stupid over all. Miss State won against a very good OM tonight. Arkansas won against a very good Miss State in a series. And 2/3 from a good LSU team. We got beat by OM, and Vandy 2 of 3 I believe.
One causation does not make the others definitive. Baseball is a freaky game, the ball bounces, the players get down, so much can happen in a single game or series.
Here is to hoping we all do well, very well in the Regionals... Would love to be in the WS against some of you

I never mind Ole Miss being good as long as we are better lol, just saying.
As to your point, about 5 years ago when MSU and Ole Miss were undefeated going into late in the season in football, that was very fun. The local radio shows were great and the state was going nuts. Yep, that was fun.

well, to be fair, I went a bit too far with the SNITCHU thing too. Im still of a mind that what Mullen/Leo conspired to do with the NCAA and how it all went down was dirty. you don't see that stuff happen with Bama/Auburn football...and both those teams stay relevant because they keep their mouth shut and play the crooting game. Ole Miss/MSU were both in the top 5 for a month! it could have been that way more often. but I am over it now, ha.

Leo didn’t instigate a snitch. The Ncaa was investigating you guys and started interviewing somr of our players.
Put yourself in an 18 year olds seat. You have 2 old Ncaa guys holding clipboards and telling you “We want the truth” and you know if you lie then the Ncaa will come down on you. And you don’t know what the Ncaa alteady knows. He was probably scared to death.

except he lied. the rebel rags bullshite was a lie, his head coach schemed up the whole thing. its in the courts as we speak....but that coach is in Florida now, and Leo is prolly selling crack on a corner somewhere. its over, and behind us.

thank you for being humble and gracious in victory, good luck tomorrow.
Posted on 5/11/19 at 11:45 pm to REBSontheRISE
It is indeed in court. Have no idea of what will happen but could you provide the evidence that Mullen schemed Leo to lie?
Posted on 5/11/19 at 11:53 pm to MullenBoys
its gonna all come out... appeal denied, will be cross examined in court under oath
Posted on 5/11/19 at 11:57 pm to REBSontheRISE
no worries tho. Mississippi State received immunity from the NCAA to destroy Ole Miss. your program is safe. and Mullen is now losing 5 star recruits by the handful in Gainesville....meanwhile, my alma maters football program is still in ashes, but oh well.

lol, I’ve had a few too but not that many.
Yeah I already knew about the lawsuit going forward. Like I said, who knows what will happen. I was merely stating a point of view about Mullen scheming to have him lie. No head coach is going to put his career on the line to tell a kid to lie to the Ncaa. At least I don’t think so.

the courts have evidence, or they would not have denied his appeal to not have to testify. Kobe Jones and family admitted that Mullen came up with the whole scheme....youre not still infatuated with that scumbag Mullen are ya? why the need to defend him now, after he left Starkville? your football program is solid, and not in jeapordy. immunity, remember? like scott free got away with helping send my alma maters football program back to the dark ages...its a win/win for you.

Let me also add this because you’ ve been on this board as long as I have and lets see if this jars your memory.
I mentioned a few years back that my neighbor is a big Ole Miss alum with close ties to a lot of inside stuff. He is the guy I told y’all that he was worried about some of the shenanigans going on especially with some of your boosters.
He loves Ole Miss and was worried they were getting stupid and might wind up hurting OM. You do remember me saying that, right?
Regardless of rebel rags lawsuit, a lot was going on and it just caught up with you. You guys dodged the first investigation until Tunsil opened up a can of worms on draft night.
