Pretty much sums up everything about people that grow up in Bama and decide to root for Auburn

Do you even know about American Pioneers?
American Pioneer
As for the Coonskin hat? That's a Cherokee thang that many trappers and pioneers picked up, including Daniel Boone.
US Senator Estes Kefauver (TN) made it his trademark and would campaign in one against Boss Crump's machine. He did this before Disney re-imagined Davy Crockett. That look isn't owned by Crockett.

He was actually born in the free state of Franklin which was not Tennessee at the time.
Crockett was born on August 17, 1786, in what is now eastern Tennessee. At the time, however, many of the region’s residents considered themselves citizens of the so-called state of Franklin, a breakaway territory that had declared its independence from North Carolina two years earlier. Supporters of the movement—including Crockett’s father, John—pushed for Franklin to enter the union as the 14th U.S. state, but the fledgling territory fell just shy of the required vote total in Congress. Following a stint as an independent republic, Franklin was eventually reclaimed by North Carolina in 1789. By 1796, its lands had become part of the newly formed state of Tennessee.

This is a dumb argument. He was born right up the road.

Ok? That look still isn't owned by Crockett. It's representative of the Pioneer days. They reference Crockett because of his ties to the area but he's not necessary.

Please tell me that you just didn’t mention the Cherokee nation in your argument, WTF? Do none of your mfers know your own history????
One of the main reasons you idiots turned on David is that he opposed the indian Relocation Act that Jackson set up to make his buddies rich. One of his primary reasons for this was his close ties to our Indian Allies, the Cherokee. You voted him out and helped pass the trial of tears legislation. You people betrayed our Indian Allies and David. Forcing my ancestors to marry some of daughters of Chief as some semblance of apology, and like our friend David, we left Tennessee in the rear view mirror.
Do not ever invoke the name of the Cherokee with this travesty or a curse will be laid that will ensure you never see another title for 1000 years

I'm descended from the Cherokee, dumbass. And what I mentioned was the hat's origins. As for relocation.... You don't know shite.
Much of upper East, TN and the white settlers here had good relations with the tribes located here. The Gold Rush in Georgia was the cassus belli for removal. Crockett represented interests in upper East, TN that opposed said removal. He was in line with where he was from on that. East, TN has always been it's own region. It was a maroon zone for God's sake.
ETA: So you can learn what a maroon zone is and a bit about the area you're ignorantly defaming:
