If there is no 'rules change' then the only fair way to handle it is to TEACH YOUR offense the same tactics and try it against them next year.
If it is deemed fair, then it will continue to happen. If it works, then learn it and use it yourself.

If we could get a still pic of when Marshall is releasing the ball you would see that not only is Prosch downfield blocking CJ Mosley but there are OLinemen beyond the 3 yard limit at the momentof release.
How do I know this? Watch the video and stop it when the ball is being thrown.
The problem I have is being somewhat technologically challenged I cannot link a stopped video here.
If someone could figure out how to put a still pic of the moment Marshall was throwing the ball it would be appreciated and should settle the question.
LOS was right about the 39 and a half. Prosch had a foot near the 34 when the ball was released and one of the OL 63 I believe was across the 36 and running downfield.
I see some here are getting it. Auburn won the game. Malzahn is testing the limits of the rules and that is good coaching and very smart. He is supposed to do that.
But the play as it was run is illegal and should be flagged next time it is run.

And pick plays are illegal it is up to the officials to flag them. And I have seen some flags this season.

Probably a good time to focus on Oklahoma...for your health.

My opinion is winning on this issue and has been echoed by the media and the talking heads.
Try that play in the BCSCG and see what happens.

Karma..Auburn runs that play late vs FSU gets flagged and loses.
Boys you won't want to be here if that were to happen.

So I get this correct you want bama to be flagged for all the times they have a receiver blocking down field

Pick plays are illegal. If they call them they won't run them anymore. I have seen some called this year.
Prosch was chicken fighting, clearly run blocking when the ball was thrown not"accidentally" brushing or bumping a DB or LB.
I said Malzahn was smart to do what he did. Run it til they call it. That is what they do on pick plays.
But the play as it was run is illegal.

I guess if you interpret it that way.

A TD? Big gain? Hard to say which one at this time.

wait so your complaint has been echoed by a handful of people but the rules remain the same...you call that winning?
Interesting...

so again you want the flags thrown when bama receivers block downfield(not on pick plays) like they did in the iron bowl and many times in the year?
So I expect to see to create many threads about this issue as well, correct?
