Watched this game from Qatar. Think it was like 0500 or 0600 when it finally ended.
Wild game…season got wilder after that.
Had a happy ending, so for that, will always be grateful to CLM.

Yes after he beat Texas, the big whigs got an erection.
Long was fired back in 2017.

Who hired Morris? It was after a Long left but before your current A.D. got there.

Our previous AD was more worried about trying to make Arkansas an academic school with little care for athletics.
I’ll say hiring Les at Kansas was a good hire on paper, though.

Jerry Jones pushed Chad Morris because of “Texas recruiting.”
The interim AD wanted Kiffin.

A committee of former razorbacks from various sports.
Chad Morris was hired before current AD Hunter Yuracheck.

Yes, simply because we went from 3-9 to 7-6 and beat Texas in a bowl game.

Eh Bobby was a good hire and had Arkansas chugging along pretty good before, you know, it happened.

Bert blew a 24-7 lead in the Rutgers game. Blew a 7 point fourth quarter lead in the State game. Blew a 27-21 lead against LSU in the fourth quarter.
The next year blew a 28-14 fourth quarter lead against the Aggies. Blew a 14-6 lead against Missouri in the fourth quarter.

didn't he also blow a big half time lead in a bowl game

Yes in the 2016 Belk Bowl. Arkansas blew a 24-0 lead against Virginia Tech.

McFadden would have been a HOF Safety.
I remember the play not sure what year. Number 11 linebacker fron LSU picked off an Arkansas pass and was running down far sideline.
McFadden came in like a missill and just destroyed him. I seen the play.
A couple or three years later that linebacker, cant remember name but he was All American i believe, said that was the hardest he had ever been hit on a football field. McFadden just blew him up near fat sideline.

McFadden played some QB in high school. I would have started him over Casey Dick.

I was so pissed at Matt Flynn in that game. LSU got the ball on the right side of the 50 three or four times in a row. Flynn couldn't hit any open WRs at all. Probably his worse game from an accuracy standpoint. That game could've been 28-0 and Arkansas wouldn't have been able to just run all over LSU.

I always say McFadden up there with Walker, Bo and Emmitt as top RBs all time.

Pretty sure Les declared that LSU was undefeated that season. Turns out that if you lose in OT it doesn't count.
Nope, he never said that. He said that his team was the only undefeated team "in regulation", which was accurate. Still, a dumb thing to say, but that was Les. LSU had 2 losses that year in regular season. Only one team in D1 had one loss, Ohio State, but they wound up with 2 losses after LSU scored 31 straight points against them. For those who think LSU didn't belong in the Natty Game, which team with 2 losses in the regular season would you have picked over them? (Please don't say Virginia Tech, who lost to LSU 48-7.)

They were awesome to watch. Would love to watch another full game like that on YouTube.
While it worked out, don't want to watch that one.
Hillis was my favorite.
