Come on dude, Red dog is almost identical to what is going on right now.

recruits, players, and parents of both were literally stalked
stalking has just gone another level(different format) with this one. BTW didnt they just take a picture of a few cars and run a car fax, as far as "stalking" is concerned

all for the purpose of getting Alabama placed on probation.

What would you say is happening now? to get Auburn another NC

Come on dude, quit acting like one fanbase is worse than the other

That sounds an awful lot like what is still going on with the TTMW case, doesn't it. Photos of players in the store, photos of players parents at restaurants, etc. Same ole shite, different day.

And who else is doing the same thing.

As I have been trying to say :dwi: Bama fans are doing it as well and to the same degree. So dont try to act like one fanbase is better than the other as far as transgressions

If you can point me to any point in history where an Alabama fan has hired private investigators to stalk players and recruits and their families to pursue something that was forged on a message board - then I'll concede.

It's not even CLOSE to being the same thing that's going on right now.

The only evidence that those Auburn fans had was that Dre Kirkpatrick was driving around in a dodge charger that, in their minds, was too expensive for a black kid coming out of high school to afford. Period.

Every major news outlet in America has reported that Cam Newton was shopped around by his father, and the asking price was 180-200K.

That is based on FACT. Not internet speculation, not crazy conspiracy theorists... but straight from the horse's mouth.

Bama fans trying to connect the dots on something that was dirty (and factual) is completely different, and you - even though I don't want to admit it - know it's true.

I have no idea. From what I have heard of the situation, I would say, no, but there might be more

Who took and posted those photos? IIRC it was the Bama booster that was giving the players free suits and meals in exchange for autographs he could sell and market his store with.

Oh please do share...or are you attorneys recommending that you just tell people that you have evidence but not reveal what it is or who you got it from ?

Not really. The dumb-arse store owner took those pictures and he put them on the internet.

Auburn fans didn't set up spy equipment in his store

Was unaware that private investigators had taken all those pictures. They must be worth their fee for getting everyone to smile and pose for the camera.

I thought this was the thread where we claimed speculation and rumor as fact. Or does that only fly one way?

I'm not acting like one fanbase is better than the other.

But DAMN - y'all make this shite way too easy.

You have four former players ratting out AU for P4P on public TV. You have a former head coach ratting out AU for the P4P scheme that he found when he came to coach on the plains. Your heisman trophy qb's dad was in P4P discussions.

A ton of the shite that's thrown out there for the public to see comes straight from your own Family.

I swear, it's like a broken record.
They won't name names, 1 was paid for the interview and 1 is currently suing Auburn. I wouldn't say they're of high moral fiber.

With MSU. No facts have come out that he had the same discussion with Auburn.

There is nothing going to happen to Bama over some guys hanging out at a suit store. Deal with it. Now, the Cecil Newton / $cam deal, that's a different matter. This isn't Bama's doing. We didn't even recruit the guy. We knew Cecil was shopping him and knew $Cam had been in a lot of trouble before. We steered clear.

Sorry, the do their own PI work now. Face it they are stalking, via the interwebz and other methods.

So starting rummors based upon bulshit and sending constant faxes, email, and phone calls to the NCAA is not the same as sending a "packet"

So the hostess stuff, the suit stuff, collection plate(for you MP), Dyers illeagal gun, Troopers hostess baby momma, Bingo tapes, ATM cards, etc......................... that is all based upon facts?
