Sheridan getting hammered everywhere. He looks like a complete fool. I think Cam did get paid and Danny likely knows what he knows, but man has he made himself look a total idiot in this case.

Yes. CIA uses it. Reliability is debatable as to whether truth is mixed with fantasy under the effects of truth serums.

yes, it is.
it inhibits the decision making portion part of the brain, so they talk without fear of repercussions basically. it's not a guarantee -- but it sure does help when you combine it with threats, torture, etc.
