he has over a 90% winning percentage when he is favored so don't forget to give him credit for that too.

Because he's only favored against shite teams like South Alabama.... oh wait.

Those things plus Dak are largely what his modest success is built on

3 wins vs Auburn in the last five years haven't hurt

Problem for Sumlin is that 2 of Mullen's 4 are against him.

Yeah two of Muffin's three wins against Auburn came with Dak as his starting quarterback. 1-5 against Auburn without Dak.

I said both an easy schedule and Dak were responsible for Muffin's modest success

Muffin still has a losing record against Auburn for his career. Just like he does against every other halfway decent team

To Mullens credit he's done far better with the talent available than Sumlins done with the talent at Texas A&M. What's even better is Chavis has been his un doing .Well Chavis and brown liquor I would guess .

This is a stupid argument. You can't diminish Mullen for winning those games because he had Dak. It's not like he came in an won with Saban's players like Miles did... Mullen recruited and developed Dak.

As I pointed out when I edited the post, Muffin still has a losing record against Auburn for his entire career. Just like he does against every other decent team

Yet 3 of those early career losses vs Auburn coulda easily been wins from the guy that had just taken over a dumpster fire. You're triggered by State and it couldn't be more hilarious.

No NC if Berry catches that wide open pass
Vic Ballard scored (no replay given)
Mullen sat on the lead vs Auburn for the entire 2nd half then choked it in the last minute

Oh and the Brookhaven Georgia guy, why are you not a UGA or GTech fan? Sidewalk fans are worse than AIDS. Were you a Carolina Panthers fan when they went to the super bowl too?

He's 2-32 against teams that finished ranked, only beating #20/#21 Ole Miss in 09 and #22/#23 Auburn in 2014...

Shows where Mississippi State is when you have to brag about beating an 8-5 team almost 7 years later. Thanks for making my point.

I'm ok with people thinking that we would suck at a bigger school. Means no one will try to hire him from us

State went 5-7 last year because Mullen is still cleaning up Croom's mess

Haha putting the blame on Croom still. What is left to clean up since he has been on the job since 2009? I can understand the Croom blame back when he first started but come on all these recruits are Mullen's.

He is 4-23 all time with 3 of those wins coming in consecutive weeks in 2014.

Mullen is 1-21 outside of 2014 vs Top 15 teams. That one win was 8-4 Texas A&M in 2016.

Looks and sounds bad. But as a alumni that attended during the Croom years, I don't give a shite what the records are. He's been tremendous for State all things considered.

Because I have 2 degrees from Alabama and have been going to games there with my alumni parents since I was 3?
