One of my roommates comes from a family that's worth around 2 billion, but no one knows about it because he is quiet about it and doesn't flaunt anything. Deltaland has been to my house and can attest that it isn't any kind of high roller shite, but he's just a good enough guy that he'll live out here with his buddies instead of in some loft on the square.

Right -- and my buddy that has the 8 Rebel Club tickets and donates in the mid 5 figure range every year that I go to games with pretty regularly is as good and humble of guy as you'll ever meet.

And I'm sure there are a few jackasses at MSU with families worth under $1mil rolling around in a Range Rover and talking about their money all the time.

That's why they are stereotypes and not universal truths...

No he's really not. He's really quiet and doesn't go out much. Not that he's a loser or anything, he just likes to stay in with his girlfriend.

He was one of my pledge brothers, and none of us had a clue about his wealth for years.

I think it's mainly because he wasn't born into it. His family sold the company when he was in high school and they got a huge amount for it. They were just above average before that.

With all the civility between OM/MSU posters since the board drafts, this egg bowl thread was long over due...

If I had 2 billion dollars, I'd buy the grizzlies and build 6 bars in Starkville.

I know right? Not saying its all in his immediate family, it's distributed between his dad, uncle, and grandfather.

Like I said, he's not a douche about it, but its like he gets bored on the weekends and will just go buy something dumb. Like he bought a Harley a few weeks ago just for the hell of it and has barely ridden it.

If motorcycle shops were open at night while I was drunk, I'd have a fricking motorcycle.

I know a few millionaire's kids from Ole Miss that are extremely nice and down to earth. You would never know. That is a dumb argument. I didn't even read to see who started it.

My buds at Tulane sometimes hang out with one of the Dell family. She's kinda plump but we'd all HI to get the child support.

Honestly, I don't really classify a "millionaire" as being that rich anymore. Sure you've got money, but if you've just made it to a million, then I don't think you're loaded quite yet. When the term was made, it would be closer to 10 million these days.

Reminds me of Chappelle's Show where he finds out he got Oprah pregnant.

The Glazer family(Manchester United/Tampa Bay Bucs) also have a kid there though I've never met them. One of the kids on their dorm floor last year lives on the same street as the Coor's family in Denver. Nice guy. The wealth there dwarfs probably any other school in the south save for Vandy.

Well yeah, but I think just having a million to your name just isn't cutting it anymore like it once did.

Yeah but they always overreact when you hit them.
