I can't speak for the school, but I know for a fact a few of our more affluent and influential boosters met with Leach when he was in Jackson.

Well it's not drug related this time. It's academic.

Ok

It really doesn't matter I suppose. I was just commenting that I had heard differently from folks who generally know what is going on in y'all's program..

I believe I shall now go in search of a LSU/Bama thread. They are rare but I have heard they are out there.

Can't be true. I said in a post earlier this week that Ole Miss boosters had put out feelers to a few coaches and mentioned Leach as one them.

I'm misinformed on the drug test issue so I can't have been right about that either.

You are 110% wrong about the drug test. They skipped practice after taking a test that they told Nutt would last all of practice. They finished in plenty of time and flat out skipped.

Wow. Ok. Exaggerate much? I didn't say that at all. I also suggested that the OM staffer your friend talked to might be the weak link in this particular story. Which completely vindicates your buddy AND the information he's given you about coaches.

You need some air. Try going outside for at least 30 minutes each day. It's good for you.

Ok. Sounds believable to me.

Question - you had 2 Srs, 1 Jr, and 1 So all taking a test in the same class? Also, after 13 combined years on campus they had no clue that a professor might be contacted by a coach to verify their "test took too long story"?

As I said earlier, I was just commenting on the disparity between them and you.

I honestly didn't mean to insinuate that you were lying.

It's all good friend. Tone is difficult to read in the written word some times. I'm lacing this stuff with heavy sarcasm.

I still believe what my friend told me b/c I know the connections he has and he's almost always been spot on (almost).

That said, I'm not of the opinion that he can't possibly be wrong here. Perhaps he is. I was just joking when the other guy confirmed my OM coaching post.

I doubt a coach called the professor/TA to verify the test length. That would be a shite ton of phone calls for someone to make to check on every test, given everyday, for all 85 players. I'm sure a student or player ratted them out when they went to practice after the test and the 4 weren't there.

And yes, they are all morons for thinking A) They could skip a practice and not get busted and B) That they didn't need that extra practice the week of the Bama game. Motherfrickers should be in practice 20 hrs a day right now.

IF the skip practice story is true, IMO it is further reason why a change HAS to be made at the HC position. Has to. Players doing that (IF true) shows a total lack of respect for HC and a lack of fear of consequences.
