Grow up and see things for what they really are. You don't live on our side of life and I'm a pretty successful black man. I've seen both sides, from guys a Ive played with and much more. It's just sad to see the difference in education and so on and so on. It's a big difference, it's just to bad you don't see it.

This guy did. If you watch the Science Channel he should be very familiar to you. He grew up in the 9th ward ghetto of New Orleans. Katrina dislocated his mom and he along with his siblings to the ghettos of Jackson, MS. He got accepted into a small backwoods college that isn't even good enough to earn SWAC status named Tougaloo College. He earned a degree in physics while at Tougaloo but accepted an opportunity to study at FAMU by a grant from Harvard University. He earned his graduate degree in astrophysics and went on to receive his PhD from Stanford University and is one of the most entertaining people to hear speak on the field of physics. none of this stuff was given to him. He had to earn every bit of it. No one is holding people in projects back except the people themselves.

Difficulties can be overcome sure, but it's dumb to pretend it's an even playing field.

I posted a direct link to someone who lived on both sides and he found the opportunities to get out. And the strange irony that a OM poster is championing the cause of the downtrodden while simultaneously aiding in an attempt to ruin the career; albeit very poorly, of a young black male; is not lost here either.

He has no self-awareness. I live in Pennsylvania and one of my friends is a big PSU supporter. He said they were really interested in him until he came for an interview. I lived in the same town as Ursinus College, where he played football for 10 years before I knew the college had a football team. Most MS high schools could beat them, so saying he played college football is a stretch.
I never said I grew up in Pennsylvania or Collegeville, PA where Ursinus is located. I grew up in the Golden Triangle area, graduated from both Pharmacy and Medical School at the University of Mississippi, residency training in NOLA and moved to PA for my fellowship. I stayed in PA because I wanted my kids to live in a culturally diverse area and a place where education is a priority. An added benefit was I didn't have to listen to and treat redneck assholes like you!
I have heard of Puckett, MS, but I have no idea where it is located and don't give a shite where it is! Enjoy the state that time and people forgot! Just in case you missed it, Mississippi was not on the Hurricane Harvey map.

I am sure your stupid-arse governor will waste tax-payer money and launch an investigation into this, much like the money he wasted on HB-1523.
I truly like Dak and hope he has a great year. I hope all the schools in the SEC have a great season except you frickers.

So an "enlightened" Pennsylvanian refugee from Mississippi is sooooooo culturally advanced now that he still roots for the most racist university in existence, and considers himself PA"Rebel" of all things!
You're more believable by the second

And you still live in the most racist state in the US

Source? Of course, when your experience is in Oxford I can see why you'd think that

HB1523 for one. I am sure you think racism is about the color of a persons skin.

What's up Tommy from Puckett. What did you make on your MCATs and USMLE? You know a dude named GatorReb?

Oh, I would LOVE to hear your understanding of this.
Start with how you deem HB1523 as racist

He's googling med school passing grades right now. You would think someone with all that intelligence would stay away from Nafoom
And he would know the abbreviation for Pennsylvania is PA, not Pa.
Push him too far and he will whip out his JD from OM on you too

I made 58 on the MCAT and 249 on Step 1 of the USMLE

You must have had one hell of a resume to get accepted into any medical school with a MCaT score of 58. The average is 540's

You don't know what you are talking about. I took the MCAT in 1980. Go google MCAT scores from them. FYI, there is no "passing MCAT score"
