Late 50’s here. Know several guys that played at least five years at that level.Some OL and DL. All can recognize children and hold very good jobs.

It doesn't matter who did it -- that's awful. I mentioned bama because I knew people would accuse me of being a hypocrite, so I was trying to make it abundantly clear that I don't care who does this kind of shite -- it's just awful all the way around.
You seem to be reading more into my post than was there.
Extra clarification: I think you're hung up on the word "worse". I wasn't trying to say bama fans are worse than other fans. I was saying that some bama fans have done worse than throwing stuff on the field, which is what Dabo's quote in the OP was about.
If you had read my post without an "everybody hates bama" perspective, you might have realized that.
