Larry Scott had an offer to return to Miami as TE coach and was wanted badly...he turned it down and is headed to Tennessee.

Why would a guy who had just spent the latter half of a full season acting as Miami's head coach return to the same forlorn program albeit under a new regime and as nothing more than a TE coach?
