We’ve definitely surpassed what the expectations were. I am still skeptical how good we really are but am cautiously optimistic. It has been a fun team though

Literally all the other ranking polls did a more unbiased job after this past weekend. The weird bit was when he gave the same blowjob treatment to Texass early in the season.

He doesn't really but he definitely has a bias towards traditional powers. And he's gone out of his way to downplay the Ags over the years in an effort to appear neutral, and that has often manifested itself by being overly critical of A&M.
But I don't think we're the 6th best team in the nation so maybe he's turning that bias around.

The whole idea of portraying your operation as a national authority involves consistent effort to show the absence of bias...
But that utterly fails in regards to TV networks and their overlord's political leanings... this is just college baseball.
