It must really hurt to not succeed when you live off the success of 2 teams now.

That's why I'm not a big baseball fan, especially in College.
The human element is just wayyyyy to much.
I wasn't able to tune in until the 8th. I really hope this outrage from arky fans isn't because of the called strikes. Those pitches were too close to leave the fricking bat on the shoulder. Plus, Marzilli was safe.

Great run Arkansas
Exactly! Unbelievable run by a squad that looked like toast in the SEC tourney, we got ran by 2 teams that haven't played in weeks.
They gave us no reason to not be proud of them, what an intense game tonight. Very impressive. The Championship Series just happened to be on one side of the bracket.
Woo Pig Sooooie! I'm glad to have had my team in it until the last pitch.

We can live off our own success. How was LSU's trip to Omaha?

It's from the run they got on a borderline pitch that gave them the 3-2 lead. Marzilli shouldn't have even had the chance, inning over.
The ump then topped it off by calling not one but two batters out on strikes on pitches K Zone showed well off the plate.
Consistency, none of it behind the plate. Calls went SC's way, not Arkansas'. They are moving on.
frick off.

The inning should have been over before that call at the plate. USC had the strike zone in their favor all night and that direclty cost us the game... GFY

Yeah, but USCe is winning in the dead bat era. Also, in the era of 3 game series makes a big difference. I would say it's VERY close, with the nod to LSU.

That doesn't even take into account the inning that South Carolina scored their first 2 runs.

Oh, if it's just strikes and balls then you arky fans can't accept that south carolina is the better team.
frick, everybody knows at every level you can't leave the bat on the shoulder wtih 2 strikes. Those pitches I've seen were only about 2-3 inches off the plate.
And that was a ball that Astin threw. If yall left the game that close, then you have no right to bitch.

I'd say that LSU's accomplishments surpass USC's....but looking at all the freshmen we have playing such big roles this season, and with more talent on the way in, maybe we need to re-visit this question 3-5 seasons from now, and see where we stand then...

agreed. especially now that steroids are not prevalent in SEC baseball.

What a crybaby. Same thing in football. Always making excuses. Face it, you just aren't good enough.

I don't know, but I will be there on Sunday yelling at that motherfricking ump until I get thrown out

I agree with this. Looks like USC will be good for a while.
