Pretty damn sick. I like Rob Childress, but Schlossnagle has those guys playing better when it really matters. Unless I missed a loss, A&M is on a 2-8 streak against them. Three of those losses were season-ending for A&M.
But mostly I dislike the "Whooooo" wimmens.

Keeping in mind that this is from the '76 yearbook, I think it should forever put to rest the notion that A&M doesn't have good-looking wimmens. But it won't, of course.

Well it was a rebuilding year, so these hitters should get better. But the coaches need to look in the mirror.
Childress gets outcoached big time in pretty much all of the big games. The talent alone won the Houston regional. It wasn't coaching. He needs to really look as what makes Louisville and TCU more successful.
Recruiting is one component. But for college coaches, there is a lot of sports psychology involved as well.

Bingo, thanks for pointing this out before an Aggie fan did. 13 lost to MLB from last season. That seems like a lot to me.
Only time I am likely to post this for the foreseeable future: Go Gators! Go Tigers! Monumental tasks ahead for both, but I think they can do it with some luck and some timely hitting.

Been frog gigging my whole life and just now found out that's what Gig em means. Pretty cool actually. If I'm not mistaken a&m was super young this year. Y'all should be right back in Omaha next year but weird shite happens in baseball.

Wasn't being totally smartass. My yearbooks from the late 90's are mostly B&W. The only yearbook picture of me at A&M is in B&W. Color printing still costs more.

There's another possible explanation for how it started (gig lines), but the TCU story is most often quoted.

We lose our Friday & Saturday starters and probably some of our better bullpen arms. The only major loss in the line up was our leadoff Choruby. Pennington & Homan are gone, but I think they'll be replaced (upgraded?) fairly easily.
I 100% believe we will be better, but that seems to rarely translate to free trips to Omaha.
