Many don't know this but Florida adopted their colors off of our Scheme. Same for Auburn.

Just realized something. Brian O'Conner, UVA HC was an assistant to Paul Manieri at Notre Dame in 2000 when ND came to Starkville for a Regional. ND beat us in the afternoon game and then we had a walk off HR (Ty Martin, I think) in B9 to take us to the Super. Brian, as everyone knows, is one of the the guys in the Road to Omaha statue in front of TD Ameritrade when he was a player at Creighton.

Yep. Back when UVA played LSU in 2009 they played that story out like none other. The Manieri and O'Connor connection.
