Miami is not a bad team. They raked out 11 hits and our pitching staff is pretty good. They just didn't take advantage of all their base runners early. Too many lob.

I called Fla winning it a few weeks ago & still think they probably will, although I agree, I never count LSU out, not after what I've seen the past couple of decades. Never will forget the Warren Morris homer to win it against Miami, I believe.

After the SEC tourney, I tabbed Florida as winning it all. They haven't slowed down one bit. I don't look for that to stop.

I think we are either the best team or at least playing the best right now. We will see if that continues though, because things can change quickly. Kentucky had the best basketball team, and you see what can happen in the post season.
I thought we were the best team in 2011, but South Carolina small balled us to death and had unbelievable pitching. I fricking hate how everyone is talking about how great we are because it is the #@%&*# kiss of death. It puts all the pressure squarely on us and we played tight as hell for the first few innings yesterday.

Got pretty lucky to squeak by LSU in the conference tournament. LSU hasn't lost two games in a row all year, I doubt they would have lost a series to Florida.

We beat Florida the first game of the tourney. Doesn't mean shite now.
Going off the way everyone is playing right now, the edge goes to Florida. Yes, anything can happen and change in a heartbeat though.
