I still haven't figured out how we were so good in 08 and 09 and so back in 10 and 11 from an X's and O's standpoint on defense. I want to say it was all the talent he had but it's not like Orgeron was a world beater on defense so Nix obviously was some improvement. To be honest until I figure that out I have no idea how I think he will end up as a HC.

Nevermind I thought you said T. Nix.

Cleveland State is a legitimate team. They play shutdown defense and they went to the sweet 16 last year.

I guarantee that in five years Cleveland State will be similar to the way Gonzaga was in the 1990s. They are a very solid mid-major program.

That's funny, because A&M isn't even in the SEC right now. Get some girls who are higher than 2/10s and then talk pls. A&M has the ugliest people I have ever seen in my entire life.

No possible way there are three teams worse than LSU in the SEC

Only watched a little South Carolina, but they truly are a train wreck. Georgia has no offense whatsoever, can't get any points down low. I think we're close to dead last in PPG.

Twany Beckham should be eligible for his first game on 12/17. Kid looked good in the Blue/White Scrimmage and should provide some depth for us

He may be able to provide a spark, but somebody should cuff him to his chair if the game is in crunch time.

Twany Beckham
He will not see the floor at Kentucky (unless they are mopping up a team and they bring in the 4 white kids with high GPA's) He is there to help the practice squad.

How different the year would look for LSU if only we hadn't lost to South Alabama which is a pathetic loss. Other 2 losses are against teams with only 1 loss each. We won on the road @ Houston while Arkansas lost to that team. We beat Georgia Tech in a tourney and UGA lost to that team. frickin Trent

For me to excuse Trent for that horrible horrible loss he'll need to take this team to 8-8 or better in the SEC and we all know the chance of that happening are slim to none.

If he's in there at crunch time I'd be concerned. I'm not expecting the kid to light the world on fire but there's no reason to say he can't provide Vargas type minutes when we need them based on what I've seen of him.

He was smart enough to get the hell out of Starkville after all.

I can't blame anyone for leaving Rick Stansbury. The kid is very athletic but he was just horrible at State. Maybe with a coach that knows what a clipboard is, he will improve.

Twany Beckham was hot garbage, I mean that literally, a pile of hot garbage could have played better than him at State

And it will in no way surprise me when he starts playing at UK and becomes a useful 8th or 9th guy who comes in and plays good D and provides a spark

That is Stans for you, never any improvement from our guys, other than Swat.

I can guarantee you there is at least one...us. It's almost gotten to the point where I want us to lose so we can rid ourselves of the worst hire of all time...Darrin Horn.

So you see no improvement with Dee Bost each year? Hmm
