Cajunbama has got to be the biggest Internet tough guy on this entire board. My guess is he's a 125 pound dick holster who thinks people care a lot about his rants. Just commenting because when I do visit the SEC Rant I always see his posts and it reminds me again why I dont visit TD as often.

We’ll have to wait and see if Florida’s remarkable season was a one-and-done. To me, the strongest basketball program right now is Alabama, with my Cats coming up fast with Pope. Auburn will remain predictably good on the court under Pearl, of course
Texas seems to have found their home sweet home in the SEC. Overall, they have the best athletics department. Apparently they just needed the best competition possible to get their expensive athletes completely into the game, in most sports.

Auburn regular season baseball is really good. They just cant figure the tournament thing out.
Auburn has been to Omaha recently. They just ran into the hottest team in baseball this year. We aren’t on LSU’s level historically but we are good. I think Auburn Basketball is the best of the SEC for the last 5 years, but Florida winning it all this year is impressive also.

He's not that small, but he's not fat. Average, non-athletic build. Older brother was a terrific ballplayer, Cajunbama not so much. He's just very upset about LSU being so successful. It hurts him deeply.

I had the same thought. Would probably put both programs in my top five.

I wonder if LSU fans know that even WBB is bigger than college baseball.

We're really good at that too.

Not focusing on just the 2024-25 results, but from the past few years
1. Alabama Football
2. Georgia Football
3. Florida Basketball
4. Kentucky Basketball
5. LSU/Vandy baseball (LSU title this year would put them here alone)

1. Alabama Football - no ttitles
2. Georgia Football - two titles
3. Florida Basketball - one title
4. Kentucky Basketball - lol, what?
5. LSU/Vandy baseball (LSU title this year would put them here alone) - LSU - one title and in finals
How in the world do you come up with that list?

I don't think you understood the premise. This is based on the status of the programs currently (past few years, now and immediate future).

No one with a brain thinks Alabama is currently the gold standard for football. Georgia has clearly taken that mantle.

Maybe in the last couple of years. Bama kill them in the last 12 years

Find programs who have more national titles than what I listed then.
Who would you replace them with and why?
Alabama football has all the hardware to be king of football for quite a while.
Georgia football has come on the past few years and just won the league and made the playoffs.
Florida basketball just won its third national title since 2006.
Kentucky basketball is, unfortunately, SEC basketball standard.
Vanderbilt baseball has played for four national titles and won two in the past 9 years.
LSU baseball…you know your own recent history.
Again, what programs have performed better recently?
