I'm going on the Buffalo River and Lake Norfolk for a week of luxury living n the Great State of Arkansas.

Yes, we have had our differences over the years but I am willing to sit down and smoke the Peace Pipe with all my Razorback friends.

That being said any suggestion from my trip to the Natural State?

I just left the Jasper area myself. The cabin I was in was like a tree house. You can see the mountains for miles. I also floated the Buffalo River at Pruitt for a two mile trip.

Most of the best parts of the Buffalo are too low for floating right now.

The mediocre parts are still prettier than anything in the state of LA.

Have fun, and don't kill anybody.

Drag drag drag your canoe gently down the stream.

Seriously, I used to complain about that until one year... let’s just say I was ready to be Tom Hanks in Survivor and live on the banks of the Buffalo for the rest of my days.

Buffalo city! Trout fishing on the White and right at the mouth of the Buffalo. Guy named Brandon runs the place from New Orleans. White buffalo resort! It’s beautiful and the water is cold!

Unless you have a graph outlining your trip no one cares.

Will be on the Buffalo one day, the White River one day and Lake Norfolk one day.

If the Buffalo is low should I go to Mammoth Springs to float?

Not the ideal time to use a $1,000 dollar plus new Kayak.

LA ? Is it Los Angeles? That is only place you could possibly beat!

Will check it out as the rental is very close where the 2 rivers meet.

I went to a restaurant in Jasper called the Cliff House Inn. The couple who owned it are from Louisiana. Good place to eat. The cabin I stayed in is owned by a guy from Mississippi. Another good place to eat is the low gap cafe.

If you're going to be out east of St. Joe and Gilbert, you should have no problems with the water levels on the Buffalo. You won't see the parts that look like this, though.
