Is it a rivalry when only one team wins?

I mean we built up a pretty nice one with LSU despite their winning streak.

All y’all have to do is dickride Texas and you jump up the list.

That's your rival?
Couldn't tell you barely play them.

I can't see why anyone would want to pull for the University of Texas.

How did aTm and SCar end up as cross division SEC rivals in the first place? Those two schools are about as distant as any in the SEC. Seems UGA or UK make better sense.

I think it was to create an Arkansas vs. Mizzou rivalry game.

Don't put that shite on us. We didn't ask for the Tigers. We've already got an OOC meth crafting rival in Louisville.

Nah its not a rivalry. Not enough hatred. Its like the Arkansas Missouri rivalry minus the trophy. Its just not real

Makes sense. Radical SJWs versus Klansmen. Not sure why it wasn't already a thing.

league office's first mistake was in 2003 when it ended MSU/USC & ARK/UK but kept MSU/UK & ARK/USC pairings. ARK/UK had been at war on the hardwood the entire 90s and had some memorable football games.

B'ham doubled down on dumb in 2012 by not restoring MSU/USC and pairing TxAM/UK.

Carolina & State have a notable history of baseball pre-SEC/Omaha. State & Kentucky had played less than 20 football games from 1933-91, too. there was no longstanding football series between MSU/UK pre-1992.

meanwhile, a man by the name of Bear Bryant coached at both UK & TxAM and B'ham balked at an obvious opportunity to create a football trophy after a legendary SEC coach - as opposed to an obscure John Bonham/Alamo trophy.

Carolina & State
Kentucky & A&M
Missouri & Arkansas

is how it should have paired in 2012 - at least B'ham got the 3rd one right.

UK and A&M could be battling over the "who hates Billy Clyde Gillispie more" on the hardwood again this season, too.
