They play each other twice in basketball and the distance between Mississippi and Missouri is closer than you'd assume with both being in the Memphis Media Market. Sure why not

A&M has been trying to turn USC into a rivalry for years.
But apparently jizzing all over your cherished places isn't enough for yall, and we aren't about to start dickriding Clemson like LSU fans just to piss yall off.

Basically all permanent cross div rivalries need to end except uga aub and bama tenn
